2017 Break-Up Function

  1. When: Sunday the 17th of September
  2. Where: Aussie World
  3. Start Time: Please arrive no later than 4:15 pm for a 4:30 pm start.
  4. Entry Costs:
    • Players, Coaches, Managers and Committee Members:
    • Parents, Siblings & Friends wanting to ride: $10 each (subsidised by club) for those wishing to ride or needing to ride to assist their child (due to ride height requirements), will need to purchase a wrist band prior to entering the park. Wristbands: Will be provided at the door for parents, players, siblings or friends who wish to do this.
    • Parents or Siblings wishing to attend the presentation only: You will still be allowed to enter the park but you will not be able to ride any of the attractions, i.e. Only people with wristbands will be allowed to ride the amusements in the park.
  5. Presentations:
    • Start at 4:30 pm sharp.
    • We have 24 teams to get through.
    • Each player will receive a trophy.
    • The Coach and Manager of each team will determine and present 2 awards:
      1. Best and Fairest Award – based on B&F Points awarded after each game (Divisional). For NSG Teams agreed between Coach and Manager
        (Manager to present).
      2. Coaches Award (Coach to present).
  • Where a Team has a sponsor – the sponsor may be asked to present the B&F or Coaches Award.
  • Presentations are planned to finish at 5:30 pm (at least that’s the plan!!!!).
  1. Club Major raffle: Tickets will be sold at the door and will include a number of other smaller prizes as well as the main prize. Please support the club by purchasing a ticket as monies raised via these raffles subsidise these types of events.
  2. Park: We have the park to ourselves from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Players or Siblings will not be able to enter the park until after the Presentations have been completed at 5:30 pm.
  3. Food: Aussie World do not allow food to be bought into the park (except bottled water).
    The Aussie World Café will be open to purchase a selection of food and drinks.
  4. Bar: The Aussie World Shed Bar will be open for Adults to purchase drinks from 4:00 pm. It is suggested that if would like to partake in a drink after the presentations that you consider car-pooling with other team member parents.
  5. Friends: Players friends are welcome to attend, but will need to purchase a wrist band ($10) see above.

Important News

The 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday the 23rd of November @ 6:30 pm at the Mountain Creek High School.
